Questionable privacy decisions with iOS Lockscreen Widgets

I just installed the public beta for iOS 16 and so far the new lockscreen is my new favorite feature.

However, I was wondering why my activity rings are only showing up when my phone is unlocked. Do you guys think this is a normal behavior or still a bug? I don’t get why my activity rings would be considered sensitive data when my calendar widget is showing all appointments, even when locked… 😕 Hope they will work this out in the near future..

I always wondered that too. Did someone fear some judgemental person would spy the empty rings and call them a lazy MF?
