questions about 1.1.2 JB to 1.1.3 JB

I currently have a jail broken 1.1.2 ipod. I have already created simlinks for the Application and Apache Document folders to the /var/root partition.

If I install the 1.1.3 jailbreak will I lose all my applications? When I installed the 1.1.2 jailbreak, it ended up in a never-ending cycle of refreshing at the unlock screen and I was forced to restore and in the process lost all my apps and info such as calendar events and note entries.

Can anybody comment on my situation.

Backup! Before you do anything... Notes, Safari bookmarks, your Documents, etc. Most data are in /var/root/Library/ but you probably already know that.
