Questions about Bose headphones.

Hi. I plan on selling my Bose Mobile Over-The-Ear Headphones and buying a noise canceling pair (the bus noise is driving me crazy). Don't flame me but I really don't listen to much music. These headphones will be used for listening to audiobooks and watching movies and maybe the occasional song or two. Here are the questions:
1: How much do you think I can get for these headphones. They look absolutely new and have the case but not the Mobile wire. I replaced it with a cheapy Belkin Extender.
2: Would you consider Beats by Dr. Dre for me? Comfort and noise canceling are my big deals.
3: Will the sound quality of The Quiet Comfort 3, match or exceed my Bose on Ear ones?
4: Any additional comments?

I don't know any other headphones that have noise isolation but consider going with in-ears. You can definitely do better then Bose and Beats..

I really like on the ear. Nice comfort for long listening. In ears get nasty and waxy quickly
