Hi,
I would like to know what happens when you connect a Mac OS X machine to a Widows Network with Active Directory.
I know you can do all the things like File and print share.
But can you login using your XP network account on the Mac? And if you can how, Will OS X detect that you are connected to a network and give you the options at the login window?
I need to know as it might be the case that I need to connect a Mac to a Windows controlled network. The Mac needs to be like a PC as in it should just be like logging in on a XP machine.
It will need to be able to use printers, and share points. Connect to the Exchange server on the network and also connect to the internet. Can the Mac do this? I can find anything that say it can apart from Apple stuff about file sharing and print sharing.
Thanks
