Questions about graphic card driver

Apple says that 10.9.3 will focus on the graphic driver issue.

I am now using the HD7950 Mac Edition graphic card. Let's say they have updated the driver. Should I see a newly updated AMD7000Controller.kext file in system/library/extensions/?

That file never update since Sep 2013.
