1. Can iMovie do watermarking or put a transparent PNG logo over a video? Is there a list anywhere with all its features?

2. If you have used iMovie and Windows Movie Maker, which do you think is better and why?

3. Did you switch to Mac mainly because of iMovie or some other video editing related reason? If so, tell me the details.

To insert a transparent logo into your video in iMovie 11, you need to drag a transparent png file into your project.

You first need to make sure that Advanced Tools is turned on. Go to "iMovie", "Preferences", and in the window that pops up, check "Show Advanced Tools".

Then, drag the .png logo from a folder on your mac to any place over a clip in your iMovie project. Then select "Picture in Picture" from the list that pops up.

I think iMovie is better because it has more advanced features than Windows Movie Maker. It can do basic green screen effects and picture in picture to name a few.
