Hi,

I'm trying to learn about what IP Addresses are assigned to my iMac and AppleTV (which both access the internet via my Airport Extreme Base Station).

When I enable File Sharing on the iMac with "System Preferences > Sharing", it says the iMac is accessible via 10.0.1.199, so I assume that's the iMac's IP Address.

However, running this command from terminal:
ifconfig | grep "inet "
produces:
inet 127.0.0.1 netmask 0xff000000
inet 10.0.1.199 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 10.0.1.255
inet 172.16.52.1 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 172.16.52.255
inet 172.16.158.1 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 172.16.158.255
inet 10.211.55.2 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 10.211.55.255
inet 10.37.129.2 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 10.37.129.255

Question 1. What are those other IP Addresses -- I know 127.0.0.1 is the loopback, but what are the 172s and the 10.211... and 10.37...?

Question 2. How do I determine the IP Address that my Apple TV has been assigned by the AEBS?

Question 3. Is there some way to see a map of all the devices on my network?

Any help is greatly appreciated!
