If you were to sell an iPhone right now, could you just pop your card in a new phone and keep going on that plan with unlimited data, etc.?

Then if you were to buy the new iPhone would you have to start a new 2 year plan or would the phone recognize an iPhone sim?

Just wondering how it would work if you were to sell an iPhone now in hopes of switching to the new one when it comes out.

I really don't know how that all works and any insight would be much appreciated.

If your on a legit contract with an iPhone you can just buy a new hand set and pop the card in! (thats what you can do now anyways, dont no why it would change).

Im not sure about putting an iPhone Sim into another normal hand set... dont see why it wouldnt work to be honest.
