Questions about iTunes activation of iPhone 4.

Since i bought my 3G from Best Buy 18 months ago, i've never used the activation via iTunes. How do I activate my iPhone 4 via iTunes? What does this look like? Since the iPhone 4 will have a mini SIM card I assume i'll have to go completely over to this new card. What happens to my old 3G SIM card?

Also, will the iTunes activation remember my grandfathered in TRUE UNLIMITED data plan? Or will it force me to get the new BS ones?

Just curious, if all is good, i'm gonna just order via apple. Best Buy reserve and pickup sounds like a disaster.

That's what it looks like. You can keep your unlimited plan, but if you change it you can't ever get it back. Your old 3G sim will stop working after activating the micro-sim.

When I activated for the 3GS you pre-order online. When it gets delivered just plug it in and about 2 minutes later your phone is working. I know they had some problems with activations last time (which I did not experience). Other than that it is a very easy experience.
