Hey all, my friend just got a MacBook along with the free iPod nano and printer, which means that he needs the receipt that comes with the MacBook in order to get $270 worth of mail-in rebates. The only problem: there wasn't a receipt in his MacBook box. We thought maybe it would come later, with the AppleCare package he got with it, but now we aren't even sure if there will be a physical AppleCare packet, or if that just happens electronically when you buy AppleCare and the Mac it covers in the same purchase.

Can someone shed some light on this, or report whether you got a receipt in your MacBook's box? I believe he is going to call Apple to find out more about these two issues (the receipt and the AppleCare package).

edit: he figured it out, turns out "receipt" just means the online thing, not an actual printed receipt you get
