I am in the process of selling my 3G to a friend, she is on tmobile and is willing to pay me $300 for my JB and unlocked 3G iPhone.
My question is:
I want to return the phone back to basic stock apps, but i know if i do that through itunes it will automatically upgrade me to 3.1.3 locking the phone.
So my guess is that i must manually delete all the apps.
my other question is: when she goes to hook the iphone up to her computer to add music, and/or hook it up to her itunes account so she can purchase apps, how will she do this?

Download the 3.1.2 FW, shift restore, and jailbreak +unlock again.
Alt; restore using Pwnage Tool, which will preserve your baseband for the unlock

You can upgrade and downgrade the firmware on a 3G as wished, and jailbreak on any version.

Plug the phone into iTunes, authorize iTunes, done.
