Questions about non-received MMS

My daughters have "sent" me MMS's which I have of course not received. My questions are: Where are these messages? Are the floating in space somewhere? When MMS is finally activated, will I suddenly receive these?
 
as far as i know you should still be getting the messages, just as that stupid code that you have to go to a website, type in, and finally look at.
I'm not sure why you're not getting any messages.
 
yea if your phone doesnt have mms activated then u wont get any. usually you will get them just that they are delayed by a day or two since you phone doesnt support it. it goes through att's viewmymessage site. which is why you havent gotten it yet. as soon as space is open you will get a txt with a user name and password to view it.

my question to u is, are you on a family texting plan? if you are all u have to do is call AT&T and tell them that u arent being alerted when someone send u an MMS telling you to go to the viewmymessage.com website. they will have u have some one send u a few messages so they can fix it. thats what i had to do when i added a second line and the family text plan.
 
Thanks! I am on the family texting plan. I will call them and try to get it resolved tomorrow.
 
If you own a 3gs iphone then you will never get the viewmymessage codes. Not sure about the messages that were already sent to you. Hopefully AT&t get with the times. I know this because I have the 3gs and called already. :cool:
 
I do have 3GS. Not a big deal that I didn't get them. I was just wondering what happened to them. Thanks for your help.

Video and contact work I'm not sure how to send the location though.
I sent all of these to myself

JB 3.0 but the only thing I have is winterboard and backgrounder.

Not sure what you mean by that. I had somebody mms me and I can see the picture in the thread and I can select the arrow to see the full picture. No website link or anything

Is there any way to convince AT&T to send me notification? I'd love to get the messages from viewmymessage.com. As it is now, just like OP, mine go into the ether.

It wasn't an issue until about a week ago, when my Mom got a camera phone. Now I get a cll every couple days, asking me how I liked the picture she sent, and I have to explain that even though I have one of the best phones in the world, I can't get pictures. It's getting old.

I've tried calling 611, and they just transfer me to Apple. :confused:

Call 611 and choose options that relate to changing a SMS/MMS plan until you get an employee, and then explain it.
