Questions about preordering iphone 4

According to my text status check, "As a valued customer, we can offer you an upgrade with a new 2 yr commitment and waive the $18 upgrade fee"

Assuming this means I get the $199 price, I have questions about ordering on Tuesday:

1. Is it best to order from AT&T or from Apple? I'd prefer to order from Apple I think, because I know it will get here on the 24th if I do.
2. When I order from Apple, will they have some means to detect that I'm eligible for the $199 price?
3. Since I'm upgrading am I required to order it from AT&T since they have records that I'm an existing customer and eligible?
4. Is it as easy as popping the sim out and putting it into the new phone?

Quickly:

1. You can order from AT&T or Apple.
2. Apple can access your AT&T account. No problem.
3. Same as above. No problem.
4. The new phone comes with a new micro sim programmed for you.

yea. No changes to your contract will be made when you buy unsubsidized. I'm doing the same thing as you.
