Questions about reserve iPhone for pickup.

I currently reserved the iPhone 7 and wanted to know:

1) Instead of doing the Apple upgrade program lease can I do with Sprints plans? I already know I will not be approved for service using the Apple monthly installments. Even if we ran the credit application at the local store what happens if I do not get approved what are my options then?

I reserved the 7 Plus and was able to purchase through a Verizon plan. Shouldn't be a problem.

I reserved a 7+. They never asked if I wanted to do the Upgrade program. Just said I was going to use my AT&T Next plan and they said ok. Was super easy.

Glad to her that! Where you ever on a Apple lease or financing plan? What I want to do is start new services with Sprint and utilize there Lease options, since Apple has hard time getting me approved on their deal.

So you all have been able to switch from one form of payment plan to another when going into the store then? In my case I am with T-Mobile and found one for full price with in store pickup, but I want to be on the IUP. I am hoping to go in store to pick up today and tell them to switch it from the full payment to IUP.

When I purchased online I selected AT&T Next and was able to switch to IUP when I picked up the device at the Apple Store.

Folks, I just went and tried to open a new Sprint account but after Apple ran my credit, the machine kicked me off, was advised only current Sprint customers who are upgrade eligible are permitted.

Just wanted to update. I was able to switch in the store from buying the phone outright for T-mobile to starting the iphone upgrade program. They had me buy the phone at full price, then returned it right away and then processed the phone through the IUP. The only hitch was with the T-mobile/Apple interface itself. They were not working right and so the Apple specialist had to go some roundabout way of getting the phone for me, but in the end it thankfully worked out and I got my Jet Black 7+.

A credit card is needed when signing up for the iUP but otherwise any debit card will work for other of things. Credit card isn't needed for in store pickup.

Okay though I won't be doing the IUP instead the VZW installments? I never been on the IUP will Apple not allow met to do this? I am traveling 1 hour away and don't want to wast my time for nothing. This is going to be reserve and not in-store pick-up.
