I'd like to enable capture of RAW files in iOS 10. I have a 256 GB iPhone 7+, but at 30 MB per DNG, storage will be used up fast if I don't get the photos off of the phone regularly.
Admittedly I'm still somewhat unclear on how iCloud photo library works. I have it enabled on my iPhone, but I think that means it stores the photos on the phone and also uploads them into the cloud?
If I were to come home each day and transfer the DNGs to my Mac, and delete them from my phone, will they still be available to view on my phone via iCloud Photo Library? i.e. I transfer to Mac, delete them from storage on iPhone. I have iCloud Photo Library enabled on my Mac so the photos (or rather some kind of JPG preview of them?) are uploaded into the iCloud Library, which then would be visible on my phone and other Macs/iOS devices that have access to iCloud?
