Questions about the apple logo on lid.

Hullo,
Is the apple logo on the lid simply lit by the screen LEDs.

I was just wondering if one could turn it off, if for instance I was hiding in someone's shrubbery in the dead of night and using my mac could I turn the apple off so they couldn't se me?

It's been lit by the backlight of the display, so turning the brightness down or the backlight off, also does turn off the Apple logo. You can't separately turn of the Apple logo though.

Btw, even if you could turn of the logo separately, the display would be still bright enough to get noticed, even if it only reflects on your skin on your head.
So it would be best to turn the whole display off in such a situation.

Chew some Gum on the way there. Grab a big leaf, use the gum to stick the leaf over the logo.

Put a dark Apple sticker on it or put a sticker of a banana on it! Better still - put a sticker of a pineapple on it!


Or even better - put a Windows 7 sticker on it!
