Questions about the store and space issues! 64gb actual space?

Couple questions about the airs.

Is there a chance the stores will have the low end 11 inch with the 4gb ram upgrade??? If not, I may just order online now.

Also, for the 64gb, how much space does that actually come out to with the operating system, formatting etc?

EDIT: Basically what I'm asking is whether or not the 64gb will be enough for developer tools, eclipse and a bunch of other random programs?
