Questions about trading in--newbie! RadioShack? Cexchange? TIA

I have an iPhone 3G, 8GB, and I plan on upgrading to the white iPhone 4 16GB. I want to preorder. I've seen where RadioShack is doing buybacks, but you have go into the store and preorder, and I don't really want to spend my morning doing that. I'd rather just preorder through Apple directly and have it sent to my house (I have a toddler, and standing in line twice is NOT appealing). Is cexchange legitimate? That seems best because you get cash and it isn't just applied to your new order. (And I do not want to do eBay or Craigslist--I don't care about getting the most money back, I just want some money back.) Thank you so much for any advice! I apologize if this is really repetitive.

Best Buy is doing the same thing. They actually do it with a lot of stuff. Go to the Best Buy site and click on Trade-In. Follow instructions, print off, walk into BB and get your gift card, order/purchase iPhone.

Best Buy was offering about $5 more for my iPhone than the Shack.
