Im rather concerned about the load cycles of my new mbp's battery and I thought of using the power directly from the magsafe and not from the battery when possible, so I hope someone in the know can clear my doubts.

Case 1: Using the mbp while magsafe connected (shows red light)
Question : Does the mbp draw power from the battery while the battery is simultaneously being charged OR the magsafe supply power to both the mbp and charging the battery?

Case 2: Using the mbp while magsafe connected (shows green light)
Question : Does the mbp draw power from the battery or the magsafe adapter?

This has been answered previously, and I can't be bothered to link you to the sources, but here are the answers:

Case 1: The Magsafe powers both. Power is not drawn from the battery once the adapter is connected.

Case 2: Power is not drawn from the battery once the adapter has been connected.

i tried searching but couldnt find the answer, but thx alot for ur help =)
