Ok, I wan't to get the iPhone when it comes to the UK, and I don't want to unlock it, as I could get into all kinds of trouble, so heres what I want to do:

  • Buy iPhone
  • Activate Via iTunes
  • Enter incorrect details to fail credit check
  • Choose a Pay & Go Option (not contract)
  • Buy an O2 Sim seperately, with a tarrif I like better
  • Swap it with the one in the iPhone

Will this work? Does the iPhone accept other sims from the same network? Was there an option for no contract in the US?

Many thanks for any advice!

In the UK, for £35 a month with the iPhone you get 200sms, 200mins, 200mb fair use. Or for £22.50 you get a free sim, 400sms, 200mins, 200mb fair use.

I know which seems a better deal to me!
