I want to install Mojave on my iMac because I want to start using many of the great new features. Because I have some old tax software that I know will not work in Mojave until the creator updates the software, I want to create a dual boot. I have 3 questions:

1) Once the final release of Mojave is made available, will upgrading the beta be as simple as updating through App Store?

2) Will Mojave and High Sierra be able share files and applications that are not components of the operating systems such as documents and non-Apple applications and their accompanying saved files?

3) Once I have no more need of High Sierra, will I be able to recover the disc space and add it to the Mojave install? If not, what do I with the disc space that High Sierra occupied?

Are you planning on using the Mojave volume within the APFS container approach as mentioned in the
Dual boot Mojave and High Sierra: 2018 MBP thread?

If so, when you delete the High Sierra volume the space will be returned to the container where it will be available for use by other volumes. This assumes that you have copied ALL of your data from the High Sierra volume to the Mojave volume. And have room for duplicate data.

During the beta, I am just copying selected data from High Sierra for testing purposes.

When I am ready to upgrade, I will upgrade High Sierra and delete the Mojave test volume.
