I'm thinking of getting a 24" imac but the company I work for is going to transfer me to India this august for about 7-8 months. The input voltage in India is 220-240v and I was wondering what the iMac takes?

Also is the EyeTv compatible with the Indian cable standards? The EyeTv supports PAL but doesnt list India on their website. Anyone from India know if the DVR functionality on the EyeTv works there? Also is HDTV available in India at the moment?

Thanks!!

The iMac has a 110/220V power adapter so it is fine.

Your real worry should be warranty. iMacs have no worldwide warranty, and if i am not wrong Apple does not have much of a service presence in India,
