A alphaone macrumors 6502 Aug 12, 2003 300 0 Aug 13, 2003 #2 Yes. They have to be dvd-rw's though. Not dvd+rw's. Unless apple allows the dvd+r/-r capability of the dvdr-106 (which is the drive that is presumably in the G5). I'll think they'll stick with -r though.

Click to expand... The dvdr-106 is capable of dvd-r/rw and dvd+r/rw . It's looking like the panther divers only allow -r/rw to be burned though. It is still as yet unconfirmed because Panther isn't done yet and the G5's aren't shipping...
