I am thinking about buying a HFS100 camcorder for a trip to Portugal and Spain later this year, and I have a couple of questions...

1. Which class of SDHC cards should I buy? Should I buy a Class 4 or a Class 6?

2. How many cards should I have for the trip? I plan on taking video copiously.

Any help in this area is much appreciated. Thanks!

Class 6 is the fastest, the higher the number the better. Take as many as you'd guess you need. I mean a couple of 4GB/8GB cards should be enough. I have an HF10.

Class 10 (new sd 3.0 spec though not updated on sd website) fastest consumers can buy. Outside the class nomenclature you can actually get much higher speeds - and pay for it accordingly.
