So I have been looking up videos and threads on Straight Talk and have heard some great things about it. I rarely use my phone for texting and voice and I've been on a $30 monthly prepaid with Verizon for a few years now and my phone is so old it won't hold a charge so it's time for a change.
1) AT&T isn't really a main carrier here in my town, but after going on their website and looking at the coverage map I'm in the 'best' for voice and in 3G so both should work just fine, correct?
2) Do you think that this service is going to be offered for a long time. I realize know one has a way of knowing but it worries me that I'm going to spend so much for a phone and later have no service.
3) Another worry is buying a phone on places like Amazon and Ebay due to the uncertainties and if I buy it from Apple, the 32GB is $749 but it comes with a 30 day return policy. If I was to try the service, with the sim installed and changing the apn, all I would have to do was factory restore the phone and they would have no reason to not take the phone back if for some reason it didn't work in my area. //I bet there isn't a way to go to an AT&T store and buy a used one without being forced into their deals right?
I apologize for the questions, it might seem a little overboard but it's just a big investment and I appreciate the help.
