Hi,
I have requested for my network O2 to unlock my iPhone 3G, which I am then going to sell on to a friend.
O2 told me that to unlock the iPhone you have to wait for a confirmation text to my phone number then put a new SIM in the iPhone and connect to the iTunes the phone was set up to...that's fine.
However, will my friend be able to sync the iPhone to his computer after the unlock is completed, and will ANY sim card work in the phone?
Basically, is a network unlock exactly that, or does it require that you can only use the SIM card you unlock the phone with and the original iTunes account it was synced with?
Thanks for any help.
