question : i am learning fro this book " Apress_-_Beginning_iPhone_3_Development_Exploring_the_iPhone_SDK_2009 "

CHAPTER 3: Handling Basic Interaction

in this cheater i a trying to build like screnshot

also i have add my question in screenshost.

also in this chepeter they add some coding but i am confused is this coding i have to write or it will come autometecly when i add lable and all that?

please help me
