Queued file transfer

Hello,
I am making several large file transfers from one hard drive to another. I do not know initially what files I want so when I find a desired one, I just drag it to the hard drive. But this makes all the files transfer simultaneously.

Is there a way to transfer files via a user created "queue"? I imagine that the files transfer one at a time, but when I find another one to transfer I can just add it to the queue so that it is transferred later.

Any ideas or programs I should try?
