It is not thicc or too chunky.

It is not radically bigger or heavier than the 2018 16 MBP its replacing.

Screen is amazing. Speakers are a massive upgrade.

They seem to have fixed the keyboard issue where the cursor jumped around when typing.

Very happy!

16 Base model.

Are the speakers really that much better than the 2019 16" Intel? It already had some of the best sound quality of any laptop on the market.
 
In my opinion, yes. Major upgrade in bass and stereo separation.
Really? Can't wait for reviews confirming this. I'm actually really hopeful that the display and audio will be much better since i use my laptop to watch movies and series too!! And having a good display (HDR with deep blacks) and awesome speaker would really really add to the immersion!! :D

Thanks for posting .... anyone else can comment about carrying it for the 1 day (so far) they have owned it... compared to the previous ?.... noticeably heavy? or just psychologically ? (or is that the same in any case...? ;) )

especially curious to know from those with the previous 16" ! thanks !
