Quick activation question.

When you restore an iPhone and you put a sim card in, you get a message saying "Iphone is now activated".

Once this is done can you put any other sim card (from the same network) in your phone? Or is it activated to that specific sim card?

I've just sold my iPhone on Ebay and before I post I want to make sure I set it up correctly for the buyer.

yes once it's activated it's safe to switch sims
