Long time lurker, first time poster. Just had my new MBP 2.4ghz with 128 gig SSD stolen only a month after purchase. I'm going to order a new one, but am thinking about the 2.53 with 500gb HD instead. Both come out to about the same price. I'm a law student who uses my comp all day every day, but mostly for word processing, Internet, music, etc - the usual. I liked the idea of the SSD to protect me from losing my work and booting programs faster but the small size felt a bit restricting. Does it make more sense to get the 2.53 and wait to replace the HD with an SSD when the tech is a little more established and the prices have dropped?
