I'm currently looking to buy some RAM for my C2d macbook which currently has 1gb. My version can only make use of up to 3.3gb. I'm trying to decide between buying 2x1gb sticks, one 2gb and one 1gb stick, or 2x2gb. I've read about matched RAM and it's 10ish% benefits, but it's not really clear to me if it would make a huge difference to go from 2 to 3, and in that case, it probably wouldn't make a big impact to go from 3 from 3.3 either. Any thoughts? I'm leaning towards just going for the 2gb.
