Quick and stupid question (GM to public release)

Now that I have downloaded the GM, do I have to update to the public release version when that comes out? I know this may have been answered, but this is my first iOS beta experience so I'm not completely sure.

No, they'll be identical. You won't need to do anything. In the event that a major bug arises, Apple will release a new GM which will then be the public release.

In the past, GM's have been identical to the public release with the exception of one release. But I feel like they might release a newer build on the 18th to squash any existing bugs.

Even if they do something like that it would have to be something like 7.0.1 which will be an update that would go to those with current GM as well.
