I have a question for every with an apple 30 inch cinema display. If you apply slight pressure to random parts of the display, does your screen move? The screen in my ACD seems to move a lot when i apply slight pressure to random spots. is that normal?

I hope its normal, this thing will be a pain to drag to the apple store.

If I touch the top corners of mine, it does move... not a lot, but it does... and it makes a slight popping noise.

Check out this video of mine:

I think it's perfectly normal... and stop touching your screen! ;)

Thanks, thats exactly how mine is.

And everyone: the reason i touched it to begin with was because I thought I was a dead pixel and i wanted to see if it was just dirt or a dead pixel.

It's perfectly normal, does the same on both.. Guess having a little give makes the display less likely to crack if you'd accidentally thumped it! Right? Though you could take it apart and explore the reasons behind the moving display, like this chap did but for a different reason.

Apple Cinema Display - take apart-guide - looks painful!!
