Quick Applecare+ Question

Apologies for what may be a dumb question. I tried searching the forums but didnt see anything that would directly apply. I saw another user posted that AAFES would be selling the new iPad. I really wanna get applecare+ for the purchase. My question is this: If i buy an iPad from another party (such as AAFES), can i still buy applecare+ from my local apple store or online and use it on said iPad? Sorry again if this is a no brainer, I appreciate any help, thanks.

You have 30 days starting on date of purchase to have it added. If you have an Apple Store nearby go there and they'll put it on it. Just bring it with you. If you don't live near one, call 1-800-APL-CARE and have it added.

Great! thanks for the response. So it really doesnt matter where i buy the iPad from as long as its new and 30 days doesnt pass right?

Yup can buy it from any store you want and still have it added.
