Quick Application launch

Hi all

I've been a mac user for about 3 years now but not really tweeted the menu and dock.
I saw a great video on youtube and this guy had a quick launch style app

Anyone know what this might be please ?

Quicksilver maybe? Or you can use Spotlight.

Or you can use Spotlight.

That's what I was going to suggest, although I don't use it. It's not the quickest tool in the hardware store though.

Also a new launcher called Alfred that looks promising.

I use Launchbar, although it appears the dev is not doing much with it lately.
