Quick Back-Up?

I haven't been to these forums for a couple of weeks, and I was wondering if people found how to do a quick back-up. I've tried deleting the back-up, and I've tried free up some space (about 2 gigs).

Has anybody found a way to have a quick back-up?

what seems to have worked for me: delete any apps you have downloaded directly to the phone, rather than via iTunes, delete your old backup, then do it. Let the first backup run, it may take awhile, then unplug and do another backup immediately. I don't remember if the 2nd or 3rd bkup was the short one, but typically mine takes 5 min total to bkup & sync calendar & contacts if I haven't got any new apps. YMMV, good luck, let us know how you make out.

i deleted my backups and then re-backed up. now they are going pretty quickly.
