Quick Battery Question

I have an old MacBook that for various reasons has been sitting on a shelf in the closet for the last 1.5 years. I got it out today with the idea of cleaning it up and selling it. When I put it away, everything worked 100%, but now the battery seems to have died, the computer doesn't even see it. I tested the comp with a battery from another MacBook, it worked fine.

Obviously, I can get more for the computer if the battery works, is there anyway to try to bring this one back to life?

Its possible it died. You're not supposed to just leave a battery for a year and a half without charging/discharging it regularly.

You can check the health of your battery in few ways.
