Hey I am a buying a used iPhone 5c that isn't activated (i put in its serial number and it said , "Please activate your iPhone")
Is that good? It currently has a clean imei and i don't think it is currently connected to an apple id.
Thank you so much for your time.

when i plugged in the serial number on apple web site, it said,
"Please activate your iPhone
We are unable to display coverage details because your iPhone has not been activated.
Please contact your iPhone retailer or wireless carrier to activate your iPhone."

Does it mean the phone has not been used anywhere?

Put in your sim card and go through the setup process. That should make sure your phone is activated.
