I'm knocking the config of the Mac Pro down from 250GB to 160GB saving me £50.00
...I'll use the £50.00 to buy the 320GB (7200.10 will give a bit of bonus speed)

The I'll use the 320GB for OS and the 160GB For Vista on boot camp.
then I'll copy the files from my 2 external 500GB Lacies (video, iTunes, Scratch Disks) onto the 2 500GB sata drives and put them inside

will it work?
cheers.

MacPro Approved Disks?

Hmmm, Am I missing something? I thought any SATA drive would work with the MacPro. Is this not true? Is there some list of supported SATA disks that are the only disk approved for use in a MacPro?
