Quick contacts question

When I am in mail and chose to add the sender to my contacts, is there any way to add this to a contact group or will it just go into all contacts, I might have missed it on current version, if not will 3.0 allow this ?

in mail on my mac, I can click a phone number and chose to add to a contact, is this possible in 3.0 as in the current it just dials the number

Same question I have. I don't like that there is no group functionality as in create a new one or move a contact to a group that can be done on the iphone. You have to sync them up then use the address book app to then make the changes. Seems like it would have been so simple to do.
