quick delete question help

6 months into my Imac and it has been great except for one thing. I daily delete multiple downloads and daily use files to keep system clean. Is there any way to delete multiple files/downloads at one time to trash? I have tried highlighting and trying to right click to trash with no luck.
Again, within a folder how to do multiple files to trash at one time??

I really don't know what you mean by this. I realize that English must not be your first language, but could you shed some light on what these files are?

To delete multiple files at one time, highlight only the files to want to delete, then use your mouse to DRAG them to the trash.

Tallest Skil wow. I guess it must be difficult to read my short hand. Have lived here all my life and even have grad degree in English.

scienide09 thanks. Have tried that and when I right click to drag, the highlight disappears.

Just tried it while holding down the Command button and then hitting "move to trash". It works great thanks very much.
