Quick, Easy Question about Facetime-ing Mac to Mac?

So let's say I want to FaceTime you from my Macbook Pro, and you're on your MacBook Pro. When you're seeing me, is it gonna be a mirrored image or regular image? Cause to be honest, I kinda prefer the mirrored image. AND what about iChat? or is that the same as well? I've never FaceTimed or iChatted before and I want to know this before I do... thanks!
