I am about to purchase an external monitor for my 13" MBP - wanted to ask if it is better to get something that runs at the same aspect ratio as the MBP screen (1.6:1 - 1280x800) versus what appears to be the norm for widescreen monitors (1.77repeating:1). Or does it make a difference at all?

I don't want all my icons and text to appear wonky when I switch back and forth, which I fear may happen with the non-native aspect ratio monitor. Can't really roll into BB and test out my MBP on each type. Thanks :)
