Quick GPU question

I have a Mac Pro 1.1->2.1
x5355's
16gb of Ram
running 10.9.4

a 8800gt Flashed for Bios
and a eVga GTX760

Everything works great with the exception of the Adobe suite.

I previously had dual ati 5770's and the performance was great.

Now after switching to nVidia performance is choppy and extremely slow.

Is there something that I'm missing as to drivers etc?

Possibly a silly question or three.

Is the card set to use CUDA for the Adobe Suite? Are you sure it is using the GTX670 and not the 8800GT by default? Are you using this and these?
