Quick help changing to GM from B6 please

Iphone 5. Registered my UDID for $5 through some site when the Beta's came out.

I've got the ipsw file for the GM for my phone.

Do i do restore or update?

Off to morocco in 3 hrs and dont want to fudge it up.

Also... once its on GM.. will it then just be back in line with the OTA updates once the public version comes out.

Thank you very much and sorry for the newbie question... I have had a look and cant find the exact answer to my question.
 
You should do a restore in iTunes (11.1 beta).

I also wanna know the answer if this versions gets OTA updates.
 
Locating iTunes 11.1 beta might prove a little awkward as you only have three hours. You will need that if you are going to restore from a backup. Wait for the abuse now from the holier than thou lot after you mentioned paying the 5 dollar registration :)

Ha. they can abuse all they want.. end of the day I got to play with ios7 for a few weeks ahead of release..

I can just wait for itunes 11.1 to be released and then use the GM ipsw file then? Or will it be better to locate a public release ipsw file at that point.

Actually just read I can restore a back up over icloud (which I use anyway for back up) if i dont have itunes 11.1
 
anyone on the subject of reloading a back up via icloud rather than having to get itunes11.1beta
