quick help- how do i re-install Mail?

simple as that, how do i re install mail? cause mine is playing up and i am gona go for a clean re install, Thanks

You drag the mail app from where ever it is into the apps folder. that's it. If it is already there no need to do it again. If there is a problem it is likely in one of the files the the app maintains. Would be best if you described the problem.

Hi ChrisA, my accounts after a few months will keep getting jammed and the circle next to account name will keep spinning forever and take up my internet speed but not actually do anything. It will restrict me from sending and receiving mails. if i delete the account and add it again its alright for a few months.

this happens across three different mail accounts, both pop and imap

If your going to do a complete reinstall, just use the Applications disc that came with your mac. I actually think mail might be installed on the actual restore discs so when you restore, it should be there.
