I am new to indesign, I've been using quark for YEARS, and I'm finding indesign to be quite aggrivating when I try to bring in stuff from illustrator... primarily vector logos, that I have saved as EPS files...

In quark, when you make a new picture box, and place in an illustrator EPS file you don't get any background with the image, it's just a transparent background, as it should be...

With indesign this is not the case, when you place an EPS file it has a white background which then overlaps your text, or other images you have.

Does anyone know the proper way to handle this with indesign?

Thanks!
