Quick iPad Mini Question

Hey guys

I missed the conference yesterday and will wait the vid when i get a min.

I want to replace my ipad 3 with a mni so just wanted to know how the ordering will work?

Is there a pre order date / likely time i can order it on the apple website?

(also are there any glaring issues or drawbacks with it? as i havent seen the conference yet)

No retina, uses a A5 chip. That's the only downside to it but I am thinking of doing the same with selling my iPad 3 for the mini

yea im keeping my ipad 3 as well so not bothered about retina, also the 3 is fast enough and they share the same chip right? so its not really a downgrade, smaller screen would mean less requirement for retina resolution.

Any estimates on the time pre orders go up in the UK on friday?

I can't promise anything but it feels about right, I seem to recall that's when previous pre-order sessions have kicked off over here. I'll certainly be checking the store earlier than that (I'll be awake so why not) but I am fairly sure you'll be able to get one ordered around then. Hopefully someone with some more weight to their argument will come along and either back me up or shoot me down in flames
