So, i got a first gen nano the month it came out, about a month ago I started to notice problems with it and now it is unusable. I'm out of warranty and tried to see how much it would cost to get fixed by a 3rd party, but I'd rather buy a new one (Since the broken nano was only 2 gigs and since then my library has grown to 2.5).
I am thinking about getting an aluminum nano, but I'm wondering a couple things..
One thing that's bothering me is, how easily do the aluminum ipods scratch? I'd love to not have to buy a case for it, but if it's anyhting like the first gen i'll definitly need one
I'm going between buying a nano and a video (The price isn't an issue), but I prefer flash since I use my ipod while I'm moving alot, though the huge hard drive and video playback looks nice.
I hear there is going to be an iphone-like ipod video coming out with flash memory, does anyone know the rumored date of release on that? That would be the perfect purchase for me, since I'd like to have a couple concerts/movies to watch, though I'm not sure how mcuh i'd use them xD.
So, give me your opinions and thanks for your time =]
